I didn’t start out in branding — I started in film. Early in my career, I worked on productions like Forrest Gump, Training Day, and Pretty Woman. It was wild, creative, and high-stakes — and it taught me how to tell a story that actually lands. Later, I moved into commercial production, where I spent over two decades working on nearly 500 shoots for global brands like Ford, Coca-Cola, Doritos, and Best Buy.
That’s where I developed a real appreciation for message clarity. Because when you’ve got 30 seconds to move someone, every word counts.
Around the late ’90s, I started building websites and digital campaigns on the side. Those two tracks — production and digital — ran parallel for years, until my family and I moved to Western Massachusetts and I took Cider House full-time. These days, I focus on brand strategy consulting for small businesses, solo professionals, and regional organizations who need clarity, structure, and a partner who gets it.
