Challenge

Owner Larry Pasternak wanted to elevate Bracke’s online presence by creating a public-facing site that not only showcased the company’s products and expertise, but also tied directly into their backend e-commerce tools. The existing ERP system—FACTS by Infor—includes an e-commerce module called Storefront, primarily used by wholesalers to place orders. The goal was to present a seamless user experience without rewriting core processing files.

Solution

To achieve this, we developed a custom WordPress front end while preserving the integrity of the Infor Storefront back end.

  • Custom WordPress Site: Built a tailored WordPress platform that highlights products, company background, and resources in an engaging and user-friendly way.
  • Infor Storefront Reskinning: Matched the design and aesthetic of the Storefront e-commerce portal to the WordPress site for a cohesive visual experience.
  • Seamless User Experience: Designed navigation and interaction patterns that allow users to move between the informational WordPress site and the Storefront transactional portal with minimal friction.

Results

The integration resulted in a cohesive online platform that enhances both engagement and transactional flow. Customers now enjoy a smooth transition between product exploration and purchase, which improves navigation and accessibility. The solution preserved existing systems without the need for rewriting processing logic, maintaining system integrity.
