WordPress Maintenance
You didn't start a business to spend your afternoon updating plugins
WordPress maintenance is another job on a full calendar. You plan to do the updates, but a client needs something first. By the time you get back to the website, there are even more waiting.
Let us handle it. We keep the software current, make backups and monitor the site, so you don’t have to fit website maintenance around everything else.
Plans begin at $89/month, with managed hosting included for websites suited to our standard hosting setup.
We’re based in Easthampton, Western Massachusetts, and work with clients across the country. Give us a call or tell us about your site below.
A website shouldn't need to break before it gets attention.
A blank homepage makes it obvious that something needs fixing. A contact form that stops delivering messages can go unnoticed for weeks.
Even when you haven’t changed a page, the software behind it keeps changing. Updates arrive, security vulnerabilities are discovered and plugins need to keep working together. Someone needs to stay on top of it.
We do that work and check the website afterward. Here’s what we handle.
Updates and backups
We update WordPress, themes and plugins. Automatic backups run daily, and we take a fresh backup just before maintenance so we have a copy of the site from that moment.
Security
We scan for malware, monitor security and strengthen the site’s settings and access controls. When needed, we add Cloudflare for another layer of firewall and bot protection, including for sites hosted elsewhere. Our managed hosting also has server-level protections.
Uptime and performance
Uptime monitoring alerts us when a site goes down. We also check for signs of performance trouble. If it needs work beyond routine maintenance, we’ll explain the issue and discuss the next step.
Site checks and reports
We check the website after updates and verify that forms send messages to the intended address. You receive a monthly report showing the maintenance completed.
Why we work in WordPress
We love what we can build with WordPress. Across our team, we’ve built more than a thousand websites and have over 20 years of experience with the platform. It gives us the freedom to create a beautiful site that works the way your business needs it to.
There’s a huge range of plugins available to add functionality. When a plugin doesn’t quite fit, we can build a custom solution in-house. WordPress is open source, so we can see the code and work with it. We aren’t confined to the features a closed platform decides to offer. That flexibility is a big reason we choose WordPress.
The other side is that anyone can study the code, including people looking for weaknesses to exploit. That’s why security updates matter. WordPress gives us a lot to work with, but the software needs to stay current. We build WordPress websites and know how to maintain them.

Add Plus for website changes
Need a page for an upcoming event or help replacing old photos? Plus gives you time with our team for that work.
Every Plus plan adds $110/month and includes 12 hours per annual contract term. All 12 are available at the start. You can use several hours on one project and leave the rest for later in the year.
Eligible work includes content changes, new pages, form adjustments and other agreed support or development. Maintenance does not use these hours.
Plus is a 12-month agreement billed monthly. Hours expire at the end of the term and do not roll over. Additional eligible work is $110/hour, a saving of $15/hour against our standard $125 rate. Plus requests receive priority during normal business operations.
For stores, the Plus price is $110/month above the quoted maintenance price.
Keeping your current hosting? We can maintain your site there at the same plan price. Read more about [managed WordPress hosting](/wordpress-hosting/).
Real clients.
Real recovery.
Finding out your website has been hacked is unsettling, especially when you don’t know what happened or how far the problem goes. We help our clients clean up the infection, repair the damage and get their WordPress website back where it belongs.
Need a different starting point?
Looking for a new website partner?
Developers retire, employees leave and businesses change hands. You can keep the website and bring in a new team.
We take responsibility for WordPress sites built elsewhere. A standard move to our hosting is included for straightforward sites joining maintenance. Complex websites or stores may need additional setup work, quoted before we begin.
Moving from Wix, Squarespace or Joomla?
You’ve got a website, but the platform is getting in the way of what you want to do next. We can rebuild it in WordPress.
It doesn’t mean throwing everything away. Your existing content can come with you. We’ll talk about what you like about the site and where it needs to change. From there, we can estimate the rebuild. After launch, we can handle the maintenance too.
Before you choose a plan
What costs extra?
The listed maintenance services are included, along with correcting problems caused by our routine updates. Website changes and development use Plus hours or are billed separately at $125/hour. Repairs unrelated to our maintenance may need an estimate; we’ll agree on the work first.
Can I stay with my hosting company?
Yes. The maintenance fee stays the same. We can’t guarantee another provider’s server performance or hosting support. Specialized hosting requirements are quoted separately.
Will you maintain a website another developer built?
Yes. We’ll review it together and identify any repairs needed before maintenance starts. There’s no standard onboarding fee. Any additional repair, complex setup or migration work is discussed and approved first.
Are Plus hours available immediately?
Yes, all 12 hours are available from the start of your annual contract. Use them as needed during that term. They aren’t a monthly allowance and don’t carry into the following year.
Does 24/7 monitoring mean someone is available all night?
Monitoring runs continuously. Our team provides support during normal business operations, with priority for Plus clients. We don’t promise a fixed response or resolution time.
What do you need to get started?
Your website address and a brief description of what you need. We’ll discuss the plan and collect access securely. Please keep passwords out of the contact form and ordinary email.
Can you help if the site is already down or infected?
Yes. Contact us about Emergency WordPress Repair or WordPress Malware Recovery so we can address the immediate problem first.
Let's talk about your website.
Share the website address and tell us what you’d like us to handle. We’ll review the setup with you and recommend a plan. You don’t need to know the technical details to get the conversation started.
